Mirror, MIrror
This is from a friend....she says this in the mirror to her image. every morning.
You are wonderful and I love you.
This is one of the best days of your life.
God is working in my favor.
Whatever, I need to know, He will reveal to you.
Whatever, you need comes easily to you.
All is well.
I approve and love myself.
Then cross your arms and wrap your arms around yourself .....and hug yourself!
Thank you for being such an inspiration to me and I Love you Jennifer!

When you feel the irritation rising within ......
We
went to a women’s conference in Minnesota last weekend.
The gal putting the trip together, our organizer is a retired teacher and I have
always been amazed at her calm and happy demeanor.
She
said at her retirement exit conference, the Principal had asked her for some
sage advice for incoming teachers, from her experience…..
Her
motto is, “Be Amused, Not Annoyed”…..and it served her well all her life.
I
used this motto a number of times over the weekend. It’s hard for that many women, not to get on
each other’s nerves.
I
hope I don’t need to give her a royalty every time I use it.
May this motto bring more abundant light and love into your life....as it has mine.

Just one more Breath…
A friend was telling me a story that her friend had told her…..I
thought this was important to share with you.
The father had an advanced case of Alzheimer’s and he was
living in a nursing home since his wife could no longer care for him at home. Even before he was moved to a nursing home, he
didn’t know his wife and kids and family.
He had an accident at the nursing home and his
health deteriorated quickly and the family was summoned.
They all felt that his passing would be bitter sweet…a
release for him but painful to each of them, on many levels since they had become strangers to
him.
His family was gathered at his bedside.
He took his last breath…all of them knew it and time seemed
to stop for them as they realized the moment had come….and grief was starting
to set in.
Then he took a rattling, abrupt intake of air. They were shocked…..at the breath but more so
because the man they knew ………had parted the curtain of Alzheimer’s, reached out to them.....he knew
them.
He kissed his wife repeatedly and
voiced his love for her and each one of them got to connect to their husband,
father…loved one.
This reprieve lasted 20 minutes and then he passed peacefully. Each of them had the opportunity to say
goodbye to the man they knew and loved......closure.
What a miracle this family experienced!
Doc Childre and Howard Martin
"By using your heart as
your compass, you can see more clearly which direction to go to stop
self-defeating behavior. If you take just one mental or emotional habit that
really bothers or drains you and apply heart intelligence to it, you'll see a
noticeable difference in your life."

Afraid to live?
As I scanned my closet this morning, trying to figure out what to wear and what fit my mood....I chose my couture, "skull" crop top.
Now I am trying to figure out the why....and I got the thought....to be afraid to die, is to be afraid to live.....and that change in my belief system has changed my life, in so many ways.
